Poor Water Pressure in Shower - Symmons Temptrol Unit
We have a Symmons Temptrol Model A shower/bath unit installed which has very poor water pressure when using the shower head. The bath facet pressure is adequate but does diminish when increasing the hot water temperature. When switching to the shower the water pressure slows to a dribble. Interestingly, the sink facets in the same bathroom have decent water pressure.

I have cleaned the shower head and removed the water saving value to no avail. Any ideas for next steps?

    Thanks!

Take the shower head off, and see if anything is blocking the hole. Keep in mind that what is hot can expand or 'move' metal parts. It sounds like something is blocking the shower head.

If you have symmons temptrol you need to repace the spindle they have videos on YouTube that give you step by step. Turn off the water main first! Also spindle is less than 40$ @ homedepot
