That's right. I have installed the Oxford Advance Learner's Dictionary on my computer. Genie dictionary is one function of the OALD but it cannot activate on other application (Fire Fox 3.5, MS Outlook 2007, Desktop) except Internet Explorer 8.0

Hi. I have the same problem here.
As you know, genie (one of the cool feature of Oxford Dictionary Learning Dictionary-OALD8) search and show automatically the word's definition by just pointing the mouse to the word in Internet Explorer (I use IE9) or Microsoft Word. However, I don't know why it don't work with Microsoft Word (I use Word 2007).
I re-install many times and it doesn't get better. Finally, I have to change from text file to HTML file and open in IE. It works and need some knowledge about how to write HTML file.
    Good luck for you.
