I need some help on bidding new construction cleanup. I just bid a small building. It has 3132 sq ft. I bid it at .20 pr sq ft. The company I put the bid in with thought my bid was a little low. So then I added the price of 20 windows at $5.00 each. Am I on track with this bid?

Bidding on a job is relative to what u want as salary plus profit. Also the area that u are living/working in. Different parts of the country demand different pay rates.

Your in NY so I'm sure it's much different from Fargo ND. It ended up that the guy I'm working for told me what he was offering for clean up and I took it. $600.00 for 3180 sq ft. I think its more than fair. He also said if we do a good job on this he has 5 27plex apartment buildings that will be ready for clean up in a month and he will give me those to. I think I'm on my way!
