I sell clothes through my Facebook page.Do I need to register a business (UK)?
I love clothes, buy loads and loads of them and recently I opened a Facebook fan page through which I sell ladies clothes. It is a hobby but obviously I am making an income from it now.
I do it in the evenings as I have a full time job.
Most of my 'customers' are my friends.
Do I need to register as a business?

Depends how much you make, now Im not from the UK so I don't know the limits for extra income when you must start paying taxes..
But regarding from that of course you have to pay taxes when you make money, does not meter if its online as a hobby or not.

I would advise you to write down everything you buy and sell, all the numbers, all details and dates, until you register a business.

Any kind of business being run to make a profit must be declared to benefits agency, and to tax man, asap, or you could find yourself in hot water, this includes selling on eBay.

Even if only part time its still an extra income, it doesn't have to be a registered company but you must advise the tax man.
