I dont think you will get any Commercial Antivirus Softwares free of charge as they are supposed to be for sale. Most of them will be available as trial version which you can try for some time but you should purchase it to keep it. Almost all of them are selling the licence to use for one year or two.

Kaspersky is one of the best available in the market.

AVG is good and free AV

ALso an on line virus and spyware scanner is Trend Housecall

Kool, and I also should have said FREE or CHEAP, as in $30 or less.

Trend Housecall is great! One of my best friends works for HP and they use that all the time.
