    80 hour EtG urine test.
I took an EtG test yesterday. (still waiting for results) my last drink was 88 hours before the test. This test is supposed to read ethenol in the urine up to 80 hours. Has anyone else ever dealt with this, am I safe

Well, yes it can but.. etg's are not very accurate as far as being able to tell the difference between drinkable alcohol and other types.

According to SAMHSA's research, positive EtG tests can result from the use of hand sanitizers, medications, hygiene products, cosmetics, foods and other products that contain even small levels of alcohol. People can test positive for alcohol consumption after being exposed to laundry detergent, antiperspirant, aftershave and even hair spray.

Yea, but I'm in court ordered counseling. So I'm not allowed to use, listerine, nyquil, anything containing alcohol.. etc. it's a little extreme, right. I assume that its an 80 hour test and after 88 hours I'm hoping I'm okay:(:confused:

    Lol - naughty

Keep your fingers crossed! According to what I read... even things like laundry soap, hairspray, and hand sanitizers can trigger a false positive!

So I'm curious... did you pass or fail after the 88 hours?
