3.1picograms of metabolite per 10 milligrams of hair. What difference between 6 weeks and months, you smoked and got caught.

Yeah, you failed so really, time makes no difference here whether it's weeks or months...you still failed and that's all they care about.

The truth is they can't WHEN you smoked, but only that you DID smoke. The social worker is blowing smoke, no pun.

As the Devil's Advocate on her behalf though, chances are that she's seen this all before with a hundred different people in the same position as you are. You would like to think that you're different, that you can change, but experience has shown her otherwise. You're just another pothead whose file is going to pass over her desk.

You're going to need to stay clean. Might be hard, she thinks you can't do it. Who's right? Her or you?

So you tested positive for marijuana at 3.1 picograms per milligram. After reading your post something does not add up. You are probably not reading the results correctly. The GC/MS confirmation level is usually 0.10 pg/mg so the 3.1 pg/mg means you are over the cutoff level, hence the positive results. In regards to the time frame they would have to take 3 inches of hair from the head to get a six month history. Most place only do a 3 month history (1.5 inches). There is no way for the social worker to tell if you smoked in the last 6 weeks, the don't know what they are talking about. What lab did the actual testing? I would need to see the results to give a better answer.
