Allah is the one and only god in Islam, much like Christianity's and Judaism's. Many Muslims in the US use the words Allah and God interchangeably.
    Christians say God.
Judaism is more complicated. There is one god who is conceived of as a being that transcends this world; language, however, is of this world—a human construction. Many Jews use words such as Jehovah and Yaweh, and Adonai in prayer. There's more.
Allah has no physical representation, no icon, unlike Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesh, etc. of Hinduism.
Allah, God, and Yaweh are regarded as 'male' entities, also different from Hindu beliefs in goddesses as well as gods.

Ask 5 people and you will get 6 different answers.

He is the ONE TRUE God. He is the God of Abraham. He is all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful. It is in that regard that he would different from a polytheistic pantheon. Most Gods/Godesses have domain over one or two things. The Western Religions have a singular God that has domain over everything.

I like Joy's answer and wanted to Greenie it, but couldn't.
