This is a little confusing, but the stock you have is of the old AT&T Corp (lovingly known as "Ma Bell" back in those days - I can say that cause I used to work for them!). You may know that AT&T has gone through a long series of spin-offs and mergers, the upshot of which is that the old AT&T Corp was merged with one of its offspring (BellSouth), and the new company was retitled as AT&T Inc. In that merger the old AT&T Corp stock was retired in favor of ew AT&T Inc stock. So, you will need to have your two shares of stock converted to new AT&T Inc stock. To get started - as ScottGem says, contact AT&T Inc stockholder service. You can find contact info here: Stockholder Services | Investor Relations | AT&T
