Was wondering if suboxone would show up on a pre employment hair follicle test I have been doing a 1/4 every other day for almost a year to help me get of heroin does any one have any insight on this if so I would greatly appreciate it thank you

Hair follicle tests go back 90 days. I think your usage will show up, but much depends on the levels that a company allows, or if they confirm a positive result with a more extensive (and expensive) test.

It would only show up if they can test for it. The link given above does NOT include a test that has Buprenorphine. There is a new 17 Panel Hair Drug Test that would include Bup and considering how many substances it tests for is a good value. But most pre-employment tests only test for the main drugs of abuse, the "NIDA 5" drugs. The next step up would be a 5 Panel with Extended Opiates but Bup is not included. I think most employers think the Hair 5 Drug Panel covers their needs. I don't think I would worry about it too much since you have a prescription for Bup.
