An estranged niece of mine called me after 30 years. We live in different states.
She said "She had not forgotten about me; that she saw I had written books on Amazon and that is how she found me." What do you think of this time span absence?

Losing track of people is usually a two way street, no matter for how long and people can get busy especially younger people. Just curious though about her elders, mom, dad, cousins, are they also estranged?

I think she lost contact and is thinking about old times and found you. I found old high school and college friends after 40 years and a 1/2 sister after 40.
It really means nothing but she found you on the internet
