I had found out that tubes being blocked can be a reletivaley common and I have a friend that had this. Actually she was told for a long time that they would not be able to have kids because her husband's sperm count is low because of a accident. They tried for years with no luck! Finally they tried adoption but was not allowed to adopt for some reason, possibly money reasons and they were fairly young at 28 years old but I think thaty they made decent money. Anyway after a long and hard condsideration they finally agreed to invertro... The doctors said it would take up to 3 x and she done this and all three times failed so now they thought that something was wrong with her. She than found out her tubes were blocked after she paid all the money for invitro and then she tried the invitro again and still could not get pregnant. I believe she is 33 now and still doesn't have any kids. I feel so bad for what she is going through, especially spending all that money for nothing at all. Now the doctors have no clue what is wrong with her and they have even gave her medication to help her become pregnant easier but nothing has worked and she has had many tests. If nothing is wrong with her, I don't know why the invitro is not working. I have came to the conclusion that maybe it is not her time to have kids yet because nothing that she has tried has worked for her having kids and her husband's problem is just double horrible. They basically told her after having the surgery for the tubes that she should get pregnant easy then.. After she tried the invitro again they said that the sperm count was very high and she should get pregnant but it didn't happen, I don't know how they call the count like so many million/billion but they said the chance was very good but it did not happen for her. Don't give up and keep trying, try not to worry and please have tests done to see what can be the cause of your problem.

i got married when i was 28..its only been 6 mths now. i've been trying to get pregnant but to no avail. last 2 months my period came 8 days late and i thought i was getting pregnant. bu the pregnancy test kit showed neg. when my menses came as usual i got the most terrible cramps no one can ever imagine. so i headed to see the doc just in case i had an early miscarriage. then i requested to have an ultrasound scan of my womb.

result came out and a small fibroid was detected but no miscarriage but i'm not sure if the scan could detect any miscarriage in me as everything was still too early. and another thing was the doc couldnt justify when the fibroid grow in my womb. was it there all along? no one knew. and the doc didnt give any medication coz the fibroid is small abt 1.5cm only. and she said its still safe to get pregnant. of course i trusted her.but i will hv to do a follow up scan to see if the fibroid grow.

anyway, i would like to seek advise from the experts out here. is only stress the reason why i can't get pregnant yet? or is it my age? or is it i'm petite at 42kg? my sister was petite too but she has no problem getting pregnant. in fact she has given birth to 2 healthy boys.i am really concern as i want to get pregnant asap because me and my husband are obviously getting older. and we dont wnt our the life gap between our child and us too far apart.

we have not done any fertility check but i seriously dont think both of us are not fertile because my parents have 4 children and his parents have 5 children. but again does infertility comes only from genes? help. thanks.
