    Whistling faucet
Recently replaced a kitchen faucet, now the hot water whistles until you turn on the cold, then it stops unless you turn off the cold water then it starts up again. Also, occasionally there have been air bubbles in the toilet in my basement (finished) any thoughts would be appreciated

    Thanks

What type of faucet did you install? One handle or two knobs? The bubbles in the toilet indicate a partial blockage unless they occur when the washer's discharging. Regards, Tom

    Thanks,
The whistle has been cured by turning down the pressure on the hot water shut off. It was a two handle faucet. And yes you are correct at the time I heard the air bubbles in the toilet the washer was discharging into a waste sink about 10 feet down the line.
