Washer Drain Backs Up when Spinning
Help! Every time the washer spins out it backs up and squirts out the top of the drain. I've been told that it might be a clogged air duct. I ran water from my hose done the airduct on the roof for about 15 minutes and it seems to be clear. I've also ran draino down the pipe and it still backs up. Any suggestions? The drain size is 1 1/2 diameter. Thanks for your help.

You may have to try a plumbers snake or disassemble the trap if you can. The problem could be synthetics Drano won't touch.

Washer Drain Backs Up when Spinning
    Hey Frazier, (Love your show).

Your problem isn't in the vent but a buildup of lint and grease in the drain line.
You will have to have the drain line snaked out and cleared. It won't get better, it will only get worse. Regards, Tom
