Install PVC Adjustable/Flange Shower Drain
I'm re-doing my bathroom. Tile guys ripped up the previous composite/fiberglass shower pan which will be replaced with a tiled and mortared pan. I'm not doing the pan construction but do need to have an adjustable shower drain installed for the shower pan guy to work around.
My current configuration: PVC drain pipe rising up just above concrete slab with 1'x1' hole around the pipe. Shower pan guy will fill in the hole if necessary. All I need to do is connect a PVC shower drain to the pipe that can be adjusted to fit the membrane and tile.
Could I get some step-by-step on how to connect the drain to the drain pipe so that it's watertight? I've done some plumbing before, but the instructions on the drain I have are abysmal at best.
Thanks.
