Help with Aquasource shower kit 873-4604
When I turn on the faucet to fill the tub, water also comes out the shower head.
The water is not a lot but it drips on the tub spout and splashes on the floor. Amount of water from shower head varies depending on the position of handle, about half way up it is stronger then when handle is all the way up. The tube spout was replaced but no help.
How do I fix this problem so no water leaks out of shower head while filling the tube??

Looks like one of the two things may be happening:

    1. Shower head is installed too low
    2. Water pressure through out the house is too high

Shower head should be about 32" and higher above the valve
Water pressure to the house should be 55 psi and lower

Check those two items out. Make corrections as needed. Let me know if it helped

    Back to you

Here is an easy quick fix until you can figure out your problem. Install a shut off at the shower head like this guy did.

    Hi all

    Could be,

    1) Shower head is installed too low
    2) Water pressure through out the house is too high,

    as Milo said, for sure!

Might also be the tub spout diverter?!

schultze43, If you get our responses let us know... few options that could help!
