    Hi Lon88...

If your new upstairs bathrooms will be located near/above the downstairs bathroom then you'll definitely need to open a wall at the downstairs bathroom, but if the venting of the old bathroom can be reconfigured/rerouted so a new vent stack can be run vertical then you may NOT need to open up the concrete slab and can just use the old vent stack as a new waste stack for the new plumbing upstairs.

If your new bathrooms will not be close to the downstairs bathroom then you'll need to plan on opening the floor and running the drain/vent pipes where they need to go.

I'd get 3 plumbers in for free estimates and see what they think.

Any more questions just let us know, OK?
