Tiny insect found in paper (books)
    Hi All,

I recently opened a book at home and found this white/beige really tiny insect crawling around in the book. This is not first one I have seen in my house. I have also seen one crawling around in a box in my closet once.

I'm not sure what type of bug it is or how to get rid of them. I have done some research and it seems that it could be Silverfish or Firebrats.

Anyone else have any insight on what type of bug this could be and how to get rid of them?

Thanks in advance to all who view/reply.

Could be book lice too. How tiny are they? Silverfish are usually much bigger than book lice. They can get to be like 1/2" (unless they are babies). Book lice are real tiny, like a mm or two. Do a Google search for book lice and I'm sure you'll come up with lots of info.
