First why in the world does he want to?

If he signs away his rights, he can not visit the children, he can not have a say about what the child ever does and so on. *** but quess what, he does not have to do any of those things anyway, he can just not do anything and it saves him the legal filing and the such.

If he thinks he will not have to pay child support, supply health insurance and the such if he signs over any rights, ( just laugh at him) since he still has to pay even if he signs over his rights.

If the parent with custody has a new partner and they want to adopt, then when you sign over rights for them to adopt then they don't have to pay their support.
