Does our 4 year old see ghosts
My 4 year old son has never from the day he was born liked sleeping in the room we gave him as a baby, he screamed and never slepted when he couldn't talk, now he can talk he says there are bad people that come to him in the yellow room.

We moved him into the pink room and he is happy now, he has to have a gate up on the pink room (in his words) so the bad people can't come in, does he really see people?

He says he see's his Grandfather a Uncle that died when he was a baby, we just don't know if he's making it up, but we do know he will never sleep in the yellow room

He sleeps with 2 night lights on, every night he even puts the big light on also

    Any help please

See If he can give you detail that he can't otherwise know about his grandfather and uncle.
Or it could be ghosts he assumes are grandfather and uncle.
They say kids are open to seeing ghosts because they haven't been taught that it isn't real
Don't discourage or encourage his seeing ghosts. If it continues to be a problem get the ghosts out.

They can see and talk with spirits because they are new and are closest to spirit. They are on a new energy plane. Some do not out grow out of it. It is really special because that sort of means they are an old soul as they say. They have come back to learn or teach and so they are very intouch to there spirit guides. Don't interfear with this it will not bother anyone. It is for there benefit. Unless they are showing strange behaver problems. Or are scared, unhappy, are in a state of grief. If personality changes then there could be more going on.

Sounds like nothing more harmful than an active imagination to me.

When I was a child, my mom told me that I use to point next to my grandmother and say "grandpa" which freaked both my mom and grandma out. It wasn't that I had mistaken the word as I call her Nonna (italian for grandmother).

There were other incidents in our other house when I was a child. My bedroom was a frightening place for me, I didn't like to sleep there and even had an encounter with a red-eyed being (all I could see were two glowing red eyes). After we moved out of the house, I had a new bedroom and no problems.

It is within all possibilities that your child is seeing something. This sort of sixth sense generally fades, as it did with me. From a more scientific standpoint your child may be suffering from night terrors, though this is usually more problematic in girls than in boys.

Trust me he isn't joking about this. Some people are born with a pk high enough to see departed spirits. I'm sorry but there isn't a way to help him stop seeing spirits. Just try talking to him and explian that the people can't hurt him and will leave him alone as long as he leaves them alone. I'm not trying to scare you but if he's really afriad about these spirits then maybe you may want to move cause some spirits can harm people and don't do it for no reason really.

Are their any shapes in that room? When I was small, I didn't like the curtains, but I really wasn't smart enough to say that. The curtains had a white siloette of peope on a tran on a dark background and, of course, it moved when the heat came on. That can scare a kid.
Look for things that might "come alive" under imagination and remove them.

I'm not saying, I don't believe in spirits. I do possess paranormal abilities and my senses are overactive.

Our son Jacob is 4 years old. We have a 1 year old as well. They both see the "thing" that lives in our home with us. Seek help. Tonight my children are sleeping in our room because they are scared in their own rooms. We called for help and the people that came said it was too big for them. So in 2 days another group is coming with a priest to bless our home a third time. It always starts small. Just like not wanting to sleep in their rooms. Just keep your eyes and ears open and don't be afraid to get help.

My son who is 4 will not be in a dark room. He always has to have the light on. I am trying to teach him about god but he shuts down and doesn't want to listen. I finally asked him why he acts so scared when I talk about god. He said that she scares him cause she has sharp teeth and angry bad eyes. She blows in his face and will disappear when the lights are on. I am a bit of a skeptic and want to chalk it up as something he watched on TV but find it interesting that when I Google the description, your blog came up. I haven't researched any history as our house was built in 1967 in California and nothing was ever reported when we bought it in 2003. We don't hear footsteps or experience anything out of the ordinary. How do you really tell if its something to worry about or just a phase. Any one ever heard of this "entity" before?
