    Requirements for food stamps
    My neighbor was turned down for food stamps but no one would tell him why.
    Does anyone know what the financial limit is per month?

    It varies by state you live in, and also by home many people are in the family.

    BUT, they will get a letter stating why, or they can go in and talk to the case worker and find out why. Many people are refused because they do not turn in all required and requested paper work.

    Thank you for your reply (once again)... I finally found a site... he handed in all the paperwork then they said something was missing, but it was something they never told him about. He went back home... then during second visit he thought
    He would get it. They said he didn't quality. From what I read, seniors living
    Along cannot get more then $1,815/mo.
