    Duplicate screen in background
I do not know much about computers.
I have Windows Vista. I have a duplicate magnified screen identical to the one I am using but in the background. I don't know what I did to get and I do not know how to get rid of it.
    Can you help me.
    Thanks.

    Did this just start happening?

    Have you installed anything recently?

If yes, I would do a system restore back to yesterday's settings or the settings you had before this started happening

Instruction below how to use system restore -

Information is the same for Vista as for XP, so don't worry about the link stating XP

Another problem, perhaps you can advise me. I have ordered a more powerful graphics card from Dell so I can use MS flight Simulator. I don't have it yet but am hoping that I can install it myself. I have an Dell Inspiron 530s slim tower.
Do you think I can do it, is it very complicated?

I am an old goat with little computer experience as you can see form my many posts here.
Incidentally, I did not want to go back to system restore so I still get the Low whatever in Recovery "D". Why is that, this is a new computer. Do I need to add something to rrsolve that issue?
    Thanks.

    For the first question
OPen Control panel and click on Ease of Access Icon
-Click Make the Computer Easier to Use
-Now take checkmarks out of the turn on Magnifier box and click apply

As you ordered it from Dell, I assume they are sending you one that will work with your computer.

    Your model states that
Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic preinstalled Dell 530s slim tower desktop also offers 1 DVI port, 1 VGA & 1 S-Video TV out (with add-in PCI-Express video card) and it comes with Dell Keyboard and Scroll Mouse.
The card they would be sending you is going to be a PCI-Express video card - What you would have to do is:
    -Turn PC off
-Take cover off ( should be screws or knobs to be able to do that)
-Look in case for the video card that may be there (or not) you may just have an empty slot

**Touch metal frame of case before touching anything in the computer***

Compare card you receive with the avail slots in the computer and insert firmly in slot (or replace existing card)

Hook monitor cable to new card and turn on PC to see if video comes on monitor - If so, Shut down and put cover back on

Hopefully more detailed instruction will come with card, if not, that is the basic idea and see if 800# is included with card in case need to contact Dell

Will the new card fit in only one spot or how will I know the right spot for it?
    Thanks.

It will only fit in the slot it is made for, you will be able to tell.

If you have more than 1 slot that are exactly the same, use either one - but it must be the one it is made for and only fits into

Wait till you get the card and have a look of what you have there so you will know what you have to work with
