Ok, I remember this move from when I was little. I don't remember much but it is driving me crazy. I can't really explain much but please help me if you can! Thanks!

It was about this witch academy or school. It was about his little girl who was kind of clutsy and didn't do much right. She may have tried to escape from the school during the movie. The main character was a girl. It may have been an all girls school and all the witches-in-training had kittens.
I also remember a huge cafeteria where all the student witches would eat at the same time. They also all had broomsticks and they were learning how to fly and stuff. The head of the school was a guy who is a well known actor and I can picture him in my head but don't know what his name is.

I know none of this really makes sense but that's pretty much all I can remember.

I know it isn't Harry Potter or The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe or anything like that.

Never mind, I answered my own question. I found it. It is called The Worst Witch and the main character is named Mildred. That guy head witch I was talking about was called "the Grand Witch" and he was played by Tim Curry. Sorry for the useless question.

Ohh sorry, I didn't know this was also a movie. HBO also did a show about this movie in the early 90s.

I just have to tell you that you are my hero! :) I was just trying to find this movie and I couldn't remember the name either.. and I probably wouldn't have been able to remember a better way to try to describe it either. All that I could really remember was the girl riding her broom with her kitten and that all of the other girls were mean. Hey, is it me or does anyone else notice how much Harry Potter borrowed from The Worst Witch? Hummmm?

Here's another movie that I can't find that's driving me nuts... I thought this article would be my answer, but mine is not about witches. I think my mom video taped it from TV in my childhood. I remember it having a lot of mars bars in it, and there were a group of kids trick-or-treating, but not much else. Anyone know which movie this is? Sorry I don't have much to go on, but it's been driving me nuts for years...

I remember also that there is a part in the movie where she is on the roof of the school... And someone appears and sings to her a guy.. Was this guy Frankie Avalon.. and where can I see the movie...
