    Burning, strained eyes.
    Okay for the past almost two weeks. My eyes are always burning and feel tired and strained. What could be the possible causes of this.

    I am drinking plenty of fluids, I am also been using eye drops which when I first put them in my eyes burn even more.

    My eyes are not red or itchy so probably not allergies.

    Appreciate any responses.

    Just for everyone to know. I have already seen the family doctor he does not seem to concerned about it.

    Guess the next step is to see the eye doctor.

    Any ideas would be great.

    Joe, this could very well be allergies. Allergy eyes do not always have to be itchy and red or splotchy.

    This could also be dry eyes, you say you use eyedrops, what kind? Some, like Visene, can dry out the eyes of some people.

    Could you have Chronic Dry Eye Syndrome?
