    Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) is not detected in a standard opiate drug screen. It does not contain nor does it break down into morphine which is the analyte they're looking for.

    Oxycodone is derived from thebaine, is a semi-synthetic opioid and can be detected only by using an expanded drug panel or by specific test.

    Time: How long a drug can be detected is largely related to the type test performed and the cutoff used. If a specific test for thebaine analytes is used, oxycodone is detectable for 8-24 hours (amount in percocet).

    Ihave a prescription for tylinol 3s and took a 5 panel urine test for a new job. The test picked up the opiats in the T3s. I gave them a copy of my prescription but they sent my urine to a lab to be sure. I took a percecet 10 days ago. Will it show up?
