When should I go to ER for high blood pressure?
I take medication for high blood pressure. My blood pressure is ranging from 152/104 to 178/114. My pulse ranges from 102 to 131. My head is throbbing, my face is red, I keep sweating profusely but feel chilled. I feel dizzy at times. My doctors office is closed, should I go to the ER?

Have you tried calling your doctor's office and leaving a message for them to call you back? Are you doing anything out of your normal routine to have such high pressure readings? If you don't hear back from your doctor and you are still having the dizzy and sweatings, etc. then go to the ER but be prepared to be given a battery of tests and paying a huge ER bill (but in the end if they do find something, it may be well worth the cost)
