    What would cause 5yr old to have fever for a week w head and mouth pain
    Little girl came home from pre school Monday saying her tongue hurt then her head started. She's had a fever all week and continues to complain about her tongue/mouth. What could be causing this.

    Strep threat comes to mind. Please take her to her doctor in the morning.
