Tiny zit like bumps on arms
For years I have had little bumps on my forearms. Not painful, not rashy. About the size of little zits, but not red at all. Just flesh colored. My bet is that they are hair follicles, but... they never go away or get smaller. Anyone have any ideas as to what they are and how to get rid of them?

My daughter has the same thing. It's very distressing for her to have these. How do you hide them?

I have these as well. I've read that they can be hereditary. I know mine arnt and I've also read that they can go away if you get some sun, but I'm always in the sun and they never go away. They're pretty annoying. To make them better, I use a loofah and exfoliating scrub in the shower. I also put lotion on my arms. It makes it better, but they don't go away. Facewash works too. I also suppose the dermitologist would perscribe something. Good luck.:)

Get a puff and a scrubbing cleanser like st ives appricot srub and wash your arms with that. Mine went away along time ago. I was told it was a form of acne by my dr. he told me what to do.

Its called keratosis pilaris (KP) Its usually genetic. You can't really treat it but there are some ways to make it less noticeable. Its usually on forarms and thighs. If you look it up online you can read more about it.

I had this as a child on my upper arms and backs of my thighs.I became more aware of it as I got into my teenage years, I was told to exfoliate everyday and after put lanolin free cream on the affected area. I use a cream called Nutraplus and the bumps completely disappeared and so long as I exfoliate every now and then they don't return. It only took about 2-weeks for all the lumps to disappear. My Aunt and cousin also have had this and used this method and it had worked. Hope it works for you!

I used to have these - prostatitis too, until I started taking 300 mg Selenium, 300 mg Multivitamins, 1000 mg of Omega 3 Daily. I also reduced my iron and salt intake (watch out for tap water full of Fl and Cl ).

Three years on and (apart from just a few of the bigger ones which are shrinking) both problems have disappeared.
