    Shooting pains when moving neck
My 15 yr old grandson woke up with a stiff neck. Now he has shooting pains and cannot stand to move it all. Now I am seeing a swollen area and his upper back near his shoulder area where he got scratched by a cat. I have given him Tylenol, put hot and cold compresses and used Ben gay. Is there anything else I should do? Should he be seen?
