Determining how many scores fell within a 70-80% range
    Hi,
I am wondering if 100 students took an exam and the mean score was 75, with a standard deviation of 5 ( and the scores were normally distributed) how may scores fell between 70-80??

Remember the Empirical Rule. 1 standard deviation from the mean is 68% of the scores.
