    Heat of Fusion
The heat of fuxion for water is 6.01 kJ/mol and for ethyl alcohol is 5.01 kJ/mol. The amount of heat that would melt 25.0 grams of water would melt how many grams of ethyl alcohol?

    1. calculate the number of moles of water in 25 grams of water.
    2. Multiply the heat of fusion (of water in kJ/mol) by the number of moles of water. This will tell you how much heat (in kJ) is released when ice (water) is melted.
    3. Take the number of kJ of heat and divide by the heat of fusion for ethanol (ethyl alcohol). That will give you a number of moles of ethanol.
    4. Convert the number of moles of ethanol to grams of ethanol.
