I'm looking for the names of specific trucking companies with trainee programs and/or companies that will help finance with refresher courses/cdl schools... The catch is they must have a policy that allows them to hire a felon (possession) who has been spotlessly clean for over 5 years. I've been searching like crazy and my situation seems to be catch22... no OTR experience... or felony not long enough ago... I know there must be someone out there who will hire me... I just need a push in the right direction... again, I can't stress enough that I'm looking for specific company names... please don't just tell me to continue looking for a needle in a haystack... give me specific names of outfits that will give me a shot... I've had my cdl for 2 1/2 yrs and it appears to be useless. Thank you for reading this.

Did you try some of the larger OTR companies? You don't have to live in the same state as the trucking company location. I'm not about to name names as you can do your own calling and speaking to the recruiters yourself. There are companies out there, you just need to keep calling. If it's been 5+ years since your conviction, you should be able to get hired. Your driving record is also just as important such as no accidents/incidents.
