How can I remove black magic affecting my brain the islamic way?
    As Salamu Alaykum,
I have been a victim of black for years and its been about one year since my concentration/focus on my studies is bad, but I used to be a bright student. My memory isn't very good too and my brain has been weakened. Now I'm behind in my studies. How can I improve my focus and concentration and remove the black magic that is affecting my education? Is there a special du'a or anything to read? JazakhaAallah khair. Please reply thanks.

    Wa `aleikumus-Salaam.
You can pray more and every du`a where is good is good. Last two verses of the Holy Quran were revealed exactly against black magic. If you recite three times the last three surahs after fajr and after maqhrib always, it will be enough to protect against all evil according to the promise of Nabii -sAaws- and I see this in reality in my life. Also to read after every salaat ayat al-kursi is sunnah. And always if you can have tahaarah it`s good. Seeking protection of Allaah (and from Him Alone) is the order of Allaah, and is worship of Allaah, so keep on doing it, and don`t seek for a way to just get rid of evil so that you are no more bothered ever again. That`s not how this life works. Always you need to beg Allaah His help, salvation, protection, jannat, rahmat. There is a wisdom that Allaah created us weak and vulnerable. We need always to beg Him and turn to Him. Alhamdu Lillaah.
And read surat Al-Baqarah more, listen to it, have it recited upon you. It is very hard against shaitaan, some ayaat specially, but all of it in general.
Seek also Allaah`s forgiveness a lot, because there is a Hadiith that who continually makes istiqhfaar, Allaah will make for that person from every narrowness a way out, and from every distress a relief, and He will nourish that person from where he/she never expected.
    May Allaah protect you.

Also I remembered two things: Allaah said "in tansurullaaha jansurkum", i.e. "if you help Allaah, He will help you", so make an intention how you base your life on worshiping Allaah alone and following His Rasuul -saaws- and helping His cause, and spreading the Message of Islam, and Allaah is near you and with you. And don`t strain yourself - just do little dawa every day. Don`t let a day pass that you did nothing for the Deen of Allaah, because then the punishment may come to you from Him. So Allaah it is whose protection is sought, and He it is from Whom we most need protection of lest He becomes angry with us. Nastaqhfiru Allaah al-`Adhiim. And Nabii -sAaws- said Allaah is helping a slave as long as a slave is helping his brother. So let`s stick to Sunnah, and let`s stick to jamaa`ah. Wa Billaahi tawfiiq.

And avoid sins. Sins destroy the memory. Best ways to avoid sins are to remember Allaah a lot and make yourself busy with other things - better things - and good intentions make small deeds into big virtues. Sälääm.

Why Does Islam Forbid Magic and Sorcery?

Does Islam teach anything about evil 'curses'?

And I want to also add that about the matters of the unseen we don`t confirm them, such as saying "I have been a victim of black magic". In the time of Rasuul -sAaws- when he was a victim of it he didn`t know without revelation and Jibriil -as- telling him. So rather we say "I suspect/fear/have experienced symptoms".. or the like of these statements, and not affirm them, because the knowledge of the unseen is ONLY with Allaah. I`m sure you didn`t mean it, but we have to be careful, because malaaikah are writing our words. Otherwise if we believe we know the unseen, then we may have actually even committed kufr, and shaitaan has won - a`uuthu Billaah. It is true that Allaah guides the believers` hearts. So you can have an idea or know something from unseen, but it`s better to say "I feel like.." etc. Ok?

    JazakaAllah Khair!
Thanks for your info. I am reading extra dhikr and recently me and family have started an amal using tasbi e yunus. Alhamdulilah Allah swt has guided me a lot and my knowledge about du'as has increased day by day. I try to stay away from sins as much as possible. I know for a fact that in the past few years I unknowingly committed sins due to the influence of black magic but now my faith and imaan has increased. Allah swt knows best. Allah swt the greatest and All knowing tests people to see if they follow the right path. I regularly pray namaz and read qu'raan and I read morning and evening daily duas. I'm slowly recovering. I looked on the website forum "Ar Ruqyah Ash Shariya" and found an amal procedure for the concentration problem. But I think dhikr and reciting Allah swt's names is sufficient too. InshaAllah I hope things improve. Please make dua for me because my exams are in May. InshaAllah I hope things improve. Thanks a lot.

Yeh I suppose you are right,
Black magic is a spiritual disease which can affect a pious person too, no matter how religious they are. Even our prophet Muhammed (pbuh) experienced it.
    Allah swt knows best. :)
May Allah swt guide us Ameen.

Also, wanted to say that some people who have problems in their life assume its black magic when its not. But Allah swt guides us if we are a victim. I've met some people who practice islam who don't believe in the existense of jinns and evil eye/possession/magic(sihir) even when its mentioned in the Qur'an/Sunnah. Btw in the question I was just talking in general about my situation. One sheikh said that black magic was done to weaken my brain the past year, but Allah swt knows best. Personally in my perspective what I said in the question wasn't a problem because I was asking for a solution to the problem.

As a muslim I wuld like to state according to the Qur'an it's a big sin to deny the existence of black magic/jinns as it is mentioned in the Qur'an and our prophet Muhammed (pbuh) went through it.
It's also bad to assume that you are experiencing black magic when in fact the person isn't. If this is the case then bad things do happen in life and when a difficulty does come then it could be because of sins.
Of course, practicing magic in islam is forbidden.

    As Salamu Alaykum,

My post is similar to the first one. I have not been very brilliant student but I have been good. But it all started from 2011. Nothing seem to be fine I mean not a single thing its not about my effort it sounds like someone or something is dragging me down (allah knows better, he always does). I do pray 5 time prayer and recite ayutul kursi, surah nas, falaq, qulhu allah after the prayer and before going to sleep. Regardless of what I do nothing seems to work. Bad luck is just not leaving me it hitting me from every possible ways and keeping me frustrated always. I don't know what to do. I am just going lunatic. Is memorizing surah al-Baqarah going to help me? Or I should look for someone.
