    Can convicted felons get passports
I'm a convicted felon for drug possession. I need to get a passport so I can move to Mexico with my Father and work. What are the guidelines for obtaining a passport with a record?

A felon may get a passport, getting a visa to work or visit another nation is another issue.

Are you still on probation or parole? That can make a difference also in obtaining a passport.

Can we get a sticky on this one? The pasport application asks nothing about convictions. The countries you visit may have restrictions, but getting a passport has none.
