If you have a nearby FM station it, or a harmonic can bleed on other TV frequencies, causing problems with Picture and/or sound.
If not using the FM band for stereo, then switching trap on shouldn't hurt, the built in trap, traps all in the FM Band.
If you are near a strong station, and want FM, and 1 station causing problems, then you want a Tunable FM Trap.
Tune Field strength meter to offending frequency, then adjust until at minimum signal on that station.

Drum trap to P trap? [ 1 Answers ]

I have a drum trap attached to the drain beneath my bath tub. It's easy to get to in the basement. Never had any problems with it, but the cap is really corroded - it has about a quarter inch of green gunk all over it. I'm going to be replacing the waste line from the tub soon, so I was wondering...

P-trap GAP - p-trap too low to meet sink drain extension [ 13 Answers ]

I just took an old crane drexel sink off the wall and replaced it for the time being ( I want to fix the older sink) with a cheap vanity/sink set. All that was easy enough, but now to my chagrin I can't finish the job. The p trap is too low, the extension pipe from the sink doesn't go all...
