Do you have an owners manual? If not try this. It works on my supertuner.

TURN THE SYSTEM OFF! Now hold down the function key. It should light up the display with the time blinking. The rest is simple.

OH you, don't use the remote. Has to be the button on the front of the unit.

I just had to set mine and yes you turn the power off. Then you hold in the "F" button (just below "eject")" for 2-3 seconds. The time will display and the hour will blink. Use the up down arrows to change the hour then use the right arrow to switch to the minutes and again use the up or down arrows to change the minutes

    This is straight from Pioneer:
    For 1999 and 2000 Models

    1. Press and HOLD the source button till the radio shuts off.

    2. Press and hold the FUNCTION button, until display pops up, then release.
(If you do not have a function button, then push the AUDIO button.

    3. Press the FUNCTION button again until the clock shows on the display

    4. Press the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hours.

    5. Press the LEFT or RIGHT arrows to move to the minutes.

    6. Press the up and down to adjust minutes.

    7. When complete, press the source button to exit

I just hope I don't have to disconnect the battery on the truck or I will be doing this all over again. GOOD LUCK
