    Will water pipes freeze if weather is 30 degrees outside
    My furnace is not working today, inside temp 60 degrees but outside to get down to 20 or 30 tonight. Will I have to worry about pipes freezing?? Can't fix furnace until tomorrow

    Your pipes will not freeze. If it makes you feel better you can keep the COLD water turned on in say the kitchen sink at a very fast drip. This way you will know your pipes aren't frozen.

    I only turn my kitchen faucet on at night when it goes down to 15 at night. Last night it went down to minus 4F and I had the water on in the kitchen!
