I can't tell where my bryant plus 80 furnace filter is located. Can you help?
I am unable to locate the filter for my Bryant plus 80 gas furnace. I bought my house roughly a year ago and I would just like to check the filter. Can you help?

It can be located anywhere in the return air duct OR behind the blower motor access door.

Where is the furnace located. If in the attic it may be in the ceiling in the hallway. Or it could be in the attic with the furnace.

If the furnace is in the basement or garage, it could be in the bottom of the furnace or if your furnace is sitting on a filter rack, behind a little door that is as wide as the furnace.

I believe you don't have a filter cabinet, so this should help:
Open the front panel door, by removing the screw which is located in the middle of the top edge of the panel door. Only that one screw is requierd to open the front panel. After that, remove the two aluminum screws, located at the top edge of the smaller panel door. Those two screws are facing YOU, not facing up. The filter is on the left side of the furnace, just slide it out.

Thanks glazarevic67! I've searched the manual and other sites and yours was the first usable answer! I am grateful to you... :-)

My daughter is renting an apartment that has this furnace. The one that was currently in it didn't fit properly. It was folded to where it would fit. It was a 14x20x1 I believe. Could you tell me what the correct size is for this furnace? Thank you.

My Bryant filter is located in a separate chamber above the furnace area. It has a filter frame that has an electric plug, and sliders to open the filter. The filter is yellow. There were three in the box. The box got damp so I am unable to read anything on it. I called the Bryant dealer but they were totally usless. All filters I have found online are blue and are already in frames. The frame states 20 x 20, Model P1000, made by Engineering Dynamics in Canada. Do you know where I purchase new fliters? Getting desperate.
