Armstrong Air Ultra 80 Fuel Oil Heating Furnace
Tried starting my furnace and all I am getting is a humming noise coming from the Honeywell Intermittent Ignition box. Any suggestions for testing or do I need to replace it?
My cellar was flooded this summer, all was under water. Let everything dry out for the past 3 months and just tried to start it as the weather was a little chilly here. Can't afford the furnace man, any help is appreciated.

In all probability your burner motor needs to be replaced. The best thing to do is replace any electrical components which were under water. This could include the burner motor, ignition transformer, Honeywell ignition control box, & blower motor.

Almost certainly the burner & blower motors will need to be replaced.
