How to fix uneven hair color?
My natural color is black and I decided to dye it with red. My mom colored it for me but it's uneven when I washed it. I can't afford to go any salon right now. I don't have any allowance.

Should I color all the black hair that isn't red?

Or should I let my natural hair color grow out? But if I do it really looks awful

I can't cut my hair short cause it's already short.

Help please. I can't go outside with my hair looking like this.

I would re-color the black hair that isn't red. You could let it grow out. The choice is yours.

Uneven at-home hair color [ 2 Answers ]

I have naturally black hair. Yesterday on a whim, I decided I wanted to go red. So I went and bought L'Oreal Feria hair color in "Ruby Rush", which is one of their Power Reds shade, formulated specifically for darker hair. The color shows, and I love it... the problem is, it only shows on my...

Uneven color [ 2 Answers ]

Apparently when I re-colored my hair this time around, I didn't really saturate the crown area non-virgin hair after the retouch process. My hair is medium brown with gold undertones. The crown area (about 3-4" in length) looks a bit lighter and a bit "faded" but the rest of the hair turned out...
