I went to the Art Institute,no schools I know accept their credits!
I went to the Art Institute of multimedia web design got a bachelors degree and now want to go graduate school and get my masters in a related field. One big problem, their credits don't transfer over to most schools so I would have to start ALL OVER. I go to get help from the Art Institute in figuring out a school and they keep referring me to different departments and they all say there's nothing they can do and I would have to find out on my own. Can anybody tell me what schools accept credit from the Art Institute of Philadelphia? I know some online schools do, but I don't like the idea of an online school, plus they are pretty expensive.

Is this the website of the institution from which you graduated.

    The Art Institute of Philadelphia

What are the schools that you are trying to enter order to enroll in their graduate programs, please?

It would be helpful to know these things.

    Thanks!

Yes that is one of the schools. They have schools nation wide, I went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia. I put more info on my question about my studies but I think they edited out or something. I want to get my masters in a related field but not sure even what subject to get into since my program was so broad. It was multimedia web design; we studied everything from graphic design, animation, video, programming, etc. I don't want to take online classes. I'm thinking about internet marketing, internet business, or anything related, I'm not sure what my options are though. I tried Temple University, Moore College of Art, Drexel, Arcadia. I know University of Phoenix takes credits but that's because they are online schools.

They appear to be very open on their accreditation and the transfer of their credit. I would assume if they do gain accreditation to the system, it will help in the transfer of some credits. I had a opposite issue, one school I went to was accredited when I graduated, but have long since lost it.

But yes, if you want to go forward with education, you may well have to go back and get additional undergrad credits.
