Dumbo - Funny that you're more concerned about the man boobs. I would think that the shrunken testicles would be the major concern for a man.

As for the breasts, I think they're talking "buy a bra buddy, you're going to need it." Oh, and buy smaller underwear, you don't need extra protection anymore.

Seriously, steroid use is dangerous, I was using humor to prove a point. Who would willingly put themselves through that just to gain a bit of muscle?

I think that this topic is closed. Points have been added and it's starting to turn into a joke. People have presented there points. To me the case is closed.

How about just a list of the negatives:
Increase risk of moods, aggressive behavior, manic depression, pyshosis, cardio vvascular disease, liver and cancer disease. acne, balness, insomina, decreased immunity system, infertity, prostate enlargement, decrease testicular size, gynecomastia. (Some of these symptoms are quite apparent in the wrestling community, as well as the recent and past deaths and behaviors of these men, who make major money using these drug).

Man boobs? Shrunken testies? Are you kidding me? These side effects are temporary, and subside at the conclusion of a cycle. Or, they can be prevented from happening DURING a cycle. Proper anchillary drugs should be taken to prevent these unwanted side effects.

Gynocomastia (your so called "man boobs") can be prevented by taking certain inhibitors (I refuse to list any here). The shrunken testies ONLY HAPPENS if you take testosterone! Or a testosterone derivative! If the body senses that it is getting too much testosterone (from an outside source), it will temporarily shut down its natural product. This is why the testies shrink, and low sperm counts occur. It is REVERSIBLE at the conclusion of a cycle. ALSO, it can be prevented from happening if, as I already stated, proper anchillary drugs are taken During a cycle...

Now Dumbo, I won't "flame" you, so I will answer your question properly as asked:

Being stockier or defined all depends on the type of steroid, or steroids, you choose to take. There are dozens and dozens out there. If you DON'T want to get stockier, then stay away from the powerful androgens. I would choose something that is more anabolic, than androgenic. All powerful androgens (like testosterone), will cause you to retain water and cause some fat accumulation. Testosterones and its derivatives can esaily convert to estrogen. Estrogen in the body is what causes gynocomastia (man boobs), shrunken testies, fat accumulation, and water retention (to name a few). No testosterone = lean muscle gains, and none of the side effects mentioned. Good luck.

I'm sorry if you all thought I was joking. I was trying to prove a point, I did use a bit of humor, but all the info I posted was found on a website and is accurate as far as I know.

I've never actually known anyone who's taken steroids, but I have heard about the dangers. My point was that growing larger breasts and shrunken testicles is a side effect, and those are the minor ones as far as I can see.

In my opinion, and it is opinion, I think that any kind of steroid use just to gain muscles is dangerous. I hope your friend thinks all this over, he could be putting his life at risk by using this drug.

Good luck to you and your friend.
