Can you increase hip size by doing certain exercises?
I just wanted to know if it is true because there are websites that say you can increase your hip size and others say you can't. Can someone give a real answer? To be honest, I don't think its all genetic, but I want other views on this.

    Thank you :)

You can work the muscles in that area to build up the appearance and give yourself more "curves". Exercises which work the glutes and hamstrings, as well as all of the leg lifting and other hip targeted exercises.

Seek out the help of a Trainer at a Gym to set you up with a good exercise plan to meet all of your needs.

Crappy question, how a earth hip size will increase with exercise! It only comes down with exercise. If you are exercising and hip size goes up, something is wrong with your diet and sleep, get it corrected.

It's next to impossible to change your frame if that is what you are referring to. Can you gain weight in the hips? Of course. Also the above mentioned exercises would help in that area. Just not sure if you are actually referring your frame. If you're still out there, can you elaborate?

This question is from 2008. Look at the dates before posting to an old thread.

You know I actually saw that. I also saw that there was a recent answer so I posted in case someone else looked this up and wanted to read it. It was just for reference. I was surprised that it was still open. Thanks anyway.
