    I need a divorce ASAP.
I've been married for almost 6 years and I need a divorce asap. I have no kid , no asset.
I live in Los Angeles but My married Cerfitication at Nevada. Should I have a divorce at Nevada, is it easier than in California? And I wonder if I can divorce online?

You file for divorce where you live. There is no choice in the matter. WHere you got married does not factor into it at all.

No, divorce is done in court. You might be able to download the appropriate paperwork online, but that's about the limit of it.

The paperwork can, but ultimately someone needs to visit the court/judge.

What's your hurry? That aside, as long as you've been a resident in your current area for at least 1 year, you can file locally. I know of no provision that will allow you to file online. You might be able to find forms to download (if you're doing it pro se) and general information about the filing procedure but in all likelihood you'll probably have to deliver the papers to the court clerk in person or maybe by snail mail, accompanied by a filing fee. Additionally, you also might have to personally serve your spouse with a copy or hire a process server to do it for you.

I wondered the same thing but I would imagine anyone who wants a divorce isn't going to want it to drag on. LOL

    Hello p:

You state that you need a divorce ASAP... Then you say you want to do it by yourself - which is exactly the thing that will SLOW it down...

So, if you want it FAST, hire a lawyer. IF you want it CHEAP, do it yourself.
