Tiny brown bugs in kitchen cabinets
I'm sorry I don't have a picture to add, they're so small it doesn't come out clearly with the camera on my phone...

I have tiny light brown bugs in my kitchen cabinets (the size of the head of a pin). I am finding them in all cardboard containers. They seem to try and hide when the boxes are opened. They appear to have two part bodies and do not look like any mite or weevil picture I have seen online. They don't fly or jump.

I have thrown out anything cardboard from my cabinets and put all sealed bags from them in my freezer. I sprayed with two kinds of pesticide and am currently letting the cabinets air out before I check them again.

I live in San Diego so it's relatively humid here... If there is any other information that might be helpful I can check (and I will try to borrow a friends camera to get a pic added).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

These things? flour bugs - Google Images

It's not the cardbord that they are after, it's the glue.

So does that mean they will go after the cabinet lining I put down as well?

    Not likely.

Here is an interesting post: Calories in envelope glue? - JREF Forum

Wallper glue contains starch which is a food. http://www.wel-cote.com/MSDS/Dry%20L...20msds.doc.pdf

    Envelope glue is yet another.

Remember the flour and water glue you may have made as a kid?

In addition to the sprays, make sure you check the shelves very thouroughly before you put anything back. The spray may have driven them to the undersides or in between removeable shelf boards and the wall.
