    Harbor breeze fan light
    Hi,
I had an electrician install my 2 Harbor breeze fans with remotes . They both worked great until yesterday. One of the remote fans the blades work in all modes but the light will not come on . Could the halogen light in it gone bad already in just a week. We cannot figure out how to take the light out . We did use plastic gloves so we would not get oils on the halogen bulb. There are no instructions in the manual for removing the bulb only installing the light fixture. The directions for harbor breeze are not very good.

Could you tell us how to get the bulb out and if you think we need to replace it.
    Thanks

I would try the bulbs first in case they were damaged or you got some bad ones. You remove the glass by rotating it until it drops out, I believe.

I have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. Today the fan won't turn on at all and the lights flash at low level when I turn them on. What's wrong with it?

I have this problem too. I find that if I turn the wall switch on and off, sometimes the light will come on for just a second. I was able to quickly dim the light before it had a chance to shut off and then it had no problem staying on. I think the light is riding some over load relay function in the lamp control module. I have tested the remote and it functions OK.
