    Broken Ceiling Fan light chain
Hello. My chain for my ceiling fan light broke off last night. I have taken the fan apart abit to get to the box the chain originally went in, but I have no way of opening it. I wanted to know if there's a way to open it without breaking it, so I can put the chain back in, or do I have to buy a new chain and switch?

    Thanks in advanced.

If the chain broke at or right inside th switch then yoy need to buy a whole new switch, about $7. Most hardware a and home centers have them.
