Pull chain on the ceiling fan light broke off, so I pulled it down, and figured out what to buy, but at some point one of the two black wires going to it came loose, presumably out of a screw cap. Does it just go in the cap with the other black load wires (3 still together)? Do I understand...

Hey all. Listen, I am attempting to install a chain switch to the light on the ceiling fan. It never had a chain switch and all there is are the two wires that go to the light bulb socket. The switch that I bought has a red, black and blue wire. Any idea how I go about putting this thing...

At one time a manufacturer made a helper lever to turn on a light on this kind of light but cannot seem to find it. It fitted right on the switch with an extension so it could be pulled on and would retract into the swith with out hanging up. Anyone lknow of this ltype of helper?
