The hiccups should go away on there own. But if they don't & she still has them for a few days more you should bring her to the vet it may be caused by a small breathing problem. Same thing happened to my dog. The vomating if caused by the hiccups, is just because her stomack is upset from all the motion & muscle use in the throat. It also could be caused by a sudden allergy to her food, but highly unlikely. Hope this helps you.

Eating too fast often creates problems. An upset stomach is bad enough, but in some large breeds, you can have bloat and even have the stomach turn upside down in torsion. Fast eating is a common problem with Labs although bloat seldom is a problem. There is a easy fix. You can spread the food out perhaps using a cookie sheet. I have friends that just throw the food on the floor of the crate. Another way is to put large rocks, too big to be swallowed, in the food dish. Either way keeps the dog from inhaling one large bite after another.

Food allergies are not near the problem many people think.

I have heard that exactly what you described will cause the hiccups(eating and playing right afterwards).
