    Hello smootherman:

But if we win control of the senate this year in the mid term elections...we won't have to wait that long.
Nahhh.. Remember, it takes 60 votes, and you ain't gonna have 'em. Republican aren't the only ones who can block stuff.

After years of stonewalling, the Treasury Department has been ordered by a federal court to release about 2,500 documents connected to the IRS’s illegal release to the Obama administration of the personal tax information of its opponents.
In 'Lost' Trove Of IRS Emails, 2,500 May Link White House To Confidential Taxpayer Data - Forbes

The Obama administration consistently resisted responding, but has finally had to relent.

These documents will become public knowledge next month . I expect we will discover that the IRS was routinely and illegally feeding the Democrats the private tax records of their Republican opponents. The question to be determined is which Democrats inside or outside the adm requested the information ;and which IRS officials complied .

Yes now let's see how many other illegal scandals have we had? I'm not going to answer my own question, it's rhetorical anyway. Every so often there is a scandal in government and it tells us about the quality of elected officials and their toady bureaucrats

My comment; there is something rotten in the state of...

    Hello:

Scandals? SCANDALS??? Bwa, ha ha ha.. Without PROOF of wrongdoing, there are NO scandals.. There's only right wingers flapping their gums.

What??? Like Benghazi was a scandal?? Bwa, ha ha ha.. You DID read the Republican produced REPORT on Benghazi, didn't you? It said, we're sorry for flapping our gums about Benghazi.

Kind of hard to think of ANY administration that doesn't have scandals attached to it... real or imagined.

Deputy CIA Director Morrell is known to have doctored the CIA talking points that Susan Rice used despite CIA Director Petraeus' objections. The committee report claims this was not political. But Sharyl Attkisson's reporting demonstrated very convincingly that it was, and that Petraeus was almost certainly blocked from making a stink about it .The report doesn't even try to explain why the alterations were made, let alone that Petraeus did not want them to be used.
The report doesn't even scratch the surface as to why the special mission and CIA outpost were there in the 1st place ;or why Ambassador Stevens traveled there on the anniversary of 9-11 knowing that security was an issue that Stevens had already raised .

Chairman Mike Rogers( who decided to not seek reelection and is retiring at the end of the current term )should've recused himself from the investigation because of a conflict of interest . His wife, Kristi Clemens Rogers was the president and the CEO of the company that was contracted by the State Department to provide security.
Mrs. Rogers served as president and CEO of Aegis LLC, the contractor to the State Dept for intelligence-based and physical security services.Aegis, won a $10 billion, 5 year contract with the State Department to provide security for U.S. diplomatic posts around the world. They did not do their job and as chair of the committee it was Rogers' responsibility to investigate his wife's company .
Rogers is as much a part of the cover-up as anyone involved in the White House ,State Dept ,or CIA.
