Ok so I just recently got caught shoplifting for the second time and the law was involved both times. The first time I was sent to court and they put me in a community service thing, I live in Michigan, do you think they will make me do jail time?

I hope not. But I hope you stop shoplifting no matter the reason. I used to shoplift because it used to make me feel good. Now I feel so guilty because you're hurting society, you're not being good to yourself either. So I really hope you get the message and seek help if it's uncontrollable or do things that really benefit you to be a better you.
The legal answer is (and this is a legal board) "probably not." Some of this depends on the dollar amount and your age. I would expect a fine, restitution, possibly some form of probation and/or community service.
